Occupational First Aid Refresher Course FAQs
Anyone whose certification is about to expire or who needs to update their skills in line with regulatory requirements should take a refresher course. It’s also beneficial for individuals looking to refresh their practical knowledge and improve their confidence in specific areas.
You can check the expiry date on your current certification or contact us to confirm your renewal status. We recommend signing up for the refresher course well in advance of your expiration date.
Our Occupational First Aid Refresher course covers a range of topics as per Workplace
Safety and Health Council (WSHC) guidelines, including but not limited to trauma care, wound management, burns, chemical exposures, and how to respond to workplace-specific injuries.
If your certification expires, you may be required to take the full course again instead of just the refresher. It’s important to renew your certification before it expires to avoid any gaps in compliance.
Certification for Occupational First Aid Refresher expires after two years. Renewal courses are available to keep trainees updated on the latest guidelines and techniques.
Various subsidies or grants may be available for eligible individuals or companies. Check with us or relevant authorities like SkillsFuture or other workforce development programs for more information.
You must have completed the initial certification for the course and meet any other specific requirements outlined by the training provider.

They managed to coax my mom to make her feel at ease & move her from her bed to the stretcher with minimal discomfort though she is of big build.Posted on Google Sky Ain't LimitTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Attended the Standard First Aid course and my class trainer is Raymond. I agree with others that he gives negative vibes and condescending towards his students. Very low EQ and impatient trainer. He needs to learn that students pay fees to learn things, not to be put down and humiliated. We are all adult, there is no need for him to resort to shouting in class when we don't get things right. Good luck if you get him in your class.Posted on Google Judy ChuaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ambulance services today !
